AN Flights Only

 

These conditions (the ‘General Conditions’) apply to all AN Travel bookings, in addition and without prejudice, to other specific conditions which may apply to particular packages.

  • Brochure accuracy

Facilities described in AN Travel’s brochures and/or other marketing material may be withdrawn for reasons beyond AN Travel’s control. AN Travel will have no responsibility to you or any other party, financial or otherwise, in such cases.

  • Pricing information

2.1 All pricing information contained in this brochure is accurate at the time of printing. However, AN Travel reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without notice, if necessitated by circumstances which AN Travel or its third party suppliers could not have foreseen or avoided, even after taking all reasonable care.

2.2 AN Travel’s prices are based on e-ticket sales, unless otherwise arranged. An additional charge will be payable to AN Travel for the delivery of a paper ticket by post. AN Travel will post tickets by standard mail only, and will not take any responsibility whatsoever for failed delivery.

2.3 AN Travel may also levy additional charges should you pay by credit card, or make a late booking such that your ticket has to be provided for collection at the airport desk of the relevant airline.

  • Holiday insurance

3.1 It is your responsibility to arrange holiday insurance that is suitable for your needs, before you travel. It is also your responsibility to take your insurance policy documentation with you when travelling.

3.2 AN Travel will not have any liability in respect of the costs that you either are required to meet as a result of failing to comply with clause 3.1, or could have avoided by complying with clause 3.1.

  • Circumstances beyond our control

AN Travel will not have any liability, financial or otherwise, for changes to your booking necessitated by circumstances which AN Travel or its third party suppliers could not have foreseen or avoided, even after taking all reasonable care. 

  • Changes and delays to flights

5.1 AN Travel reserves the right to make changes to the flight date(s) and time(s) of your booking(s) where such changes are made necessary for reasons beyond AN Travel’s control, including but not limited to, industrial action, mechanical failure, airport closures, air traffic control directions, adverse weather conditions and rescheduling of flights by airlines.

5.2 In case of any change(s) pursuant to clause 5.1 above, AN Travel will make reasonable efforts to inform you, using the contact information that you provide during the booking process. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that the contact information you provide to AN Travel is correct, and to inform AN Travel of any changes to this information. It is also your responsibility to check your flight details with the relevant airline 72 hours before departure to ensure that changes have not been made to your flight schedule.

AN Travel will not be responsible for any disruption or consequence brought about by changes made to your booking pursuant to clause 5.1 above. This does not affect your rights against the airline(s) concerned under the Denied Boarding Compensation Regulation 2004. If you choose to claim against AN Travel instead of the airline(s) concerned, you agree that you will assign all your rights against the airline(s) concerned in relation to your complaint(s) to AN Travel.

5.3 As per clause 6 below, airlines’ terms and conditions apply at all times.

  • Third party suppliers’ terms and conditions

6.1 AN Travel’s third party suppliers have their own terms and conditions, and you will be bound by these in as far as the relevant suppliers are concerned. AN Travel’s suppliers’ terms and conditions will also apply to your contract with AN Travel.

6.2 In the event of any conflict between AN Travel’s terms and conditions and those of any of its supplier(s), the latter will prevail unless any term contained therein is deemed invalid or unenforceable, in which case AN Travel’s terms and conditions will prevail.

6.4 AN Travel’s suppliers may limit or exclude their liability. By virtue of the application of AN Travel’s suppliers’ terms and conditions to your contract with AN Travel, AN Travel’s liability to you will also be limited or excluded. AN Travel’s suppliers’ terms and conditions may be available for inspection at the suppliers’ registered offices, although AN Travel makes no warranty that this is so, and takes no responsibility in this connection.

  • Accuracy of booking documentation

It is your responsibility, upon receiving any documentation relating to your booking(s), including but not limited to, flight ticket(s), holiday insurance confirmation, hotel booking confirmation and transportation confirmation, to ensure that the documents are accurate, and do not contain any errors or omissions. Any errors or omissions must be reported to AN Travel immediately for rectification. AN Travel will assume no responsibility for errors or omissions which are not so reported, nor for any consequences which flow therefrom.

  • Arrival at airport

8.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the correct airport of departure at least three hours prior to the departure of your flight, in order that you have enough time to complete all necessary procedures prior to boarding the aircraft. If you fail to do so, AN Travel will not arrange or contribute towards the cost of an alternative flight for you, nor will AN Travel take any other responsibility towards you in respect of your flight.

8.2 AN Travel will not refund the cost of any portion of your package, the enjoyment of which you do not receive, due to your failing to arrive as required by clause 8.1 above at the airport of your departure, and thus missing your flight.

  • Baggage

9.1 AN Travel takes no responsibility whatsoever for baggage handling. It is your responsibility to ensure that your baggage is safely loaded onto the aircraft/vessel/vehicle that you are travelling on.

9.2 AN Travel takes no responsibility for the safekeeping of your property, whether valuables or otherwise.

9.3 Conveyance of your baggage is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant aircraft/vessel/vehicle operator, pursuant to clause 6 above.

9.4 AN Travel takes no responsibility for ensuring that your baggage is within prescribed weight limits; it is your responsibility to ensure that your baggage is within these limits. Where your baggage exceeds such limits, it is also your responsibility to pay any and all applicable charges for the carriage of such extra baggage, in accordance with the tariff(s) of the relevant aircraft/vessel/vehicle operator(s).

  • Dependants

10.1 You are responsible for compliance with these, and all other applicable terms and conditions whether those of AN Travel or those of its third party suppliers, on the part of any dependants for whom you make a booking with AN Travel. For the purposes of this clause, a dependant is any person who either is to travel or does travel with you, and who is either under the age of majority, or who is physically or intellectually impaired, such that s/he is dependent for his/her care upon you, or whose package cost has been paid for, in whole or in part, by you.

10.2 AN Travel will have no responsibility towards you or your dependant or any other person, should your dependant fail to comply with any of these, or any other of the applicable terms and conditions, whether those of AN Travel or those of its third party suppliers.

  • Passport & Visa Requirements:
    11.1 AN Travel is required under EEC law to check that you have the required passport(s) and visa(s) to travel to ALL countries included in your itinerary. You will therefore need to confirm that you have the required passports and visas, at the time of booking.

11.2 You agree that such confirmation from you is legally binding, and that you will indemnify AN Travel, in full, for any liability AN Travel is required to meet, in the event that you do not have the required passports and/or visas.

  • Foodstuffs

UK law prohibits the carrying of any foodstuffs when transiting in and out of the UK. It is your responsibility to ensure that you observe this restriction. AN Travel will not bear any responsibility for your failure to do so.

  • Cancellation

AN Travel must receive a written notice of cancellation from you should you wish to cancel your booking. Cancelled bookings will be subject to cancellation fees, in accordance with applicable tariffs.

HAJJ BOOKINGS

The following terms (‘the Hajj Terms’) apply to Hajj packages, in addition to the main booking terms and conditions. Where there is any inconsistency between the Hajj Terms and the main terms, the former will prevail.

  • Payment

1.1 AN Travel must receive a minimum deposit of £350.00 per traveller to commence the booking process. All such deposits are non-refundable.

1.2 AN Travel must receive the balance of payment, in full, no less than four weeks prior to departure. If full payment is not so made, AN Travel reserves the right to cancel your booking(s) and forfeit your deposit(s), without notice.

1.3 Payment by means of instalments can only be arranged at AN Travel’s discretion. Such arrangements may be entered into if good cause can be demonstrated.

1.4 AN Travel reserves the right to require immediate payment in full, at any time after the commencement of the booking process, in order to continue with your booking. Failure to make payment upon demand may result in your deposit(s) being forfeited.

  • Required documents for Visa

2.1 The following documents must be received by AN Travel at least six weeks prior to departure, for each traveller:

  • Completed and signed booking form

  • Completed and signed Hajj/Umrah Visa application form

  • Passport valid for at least six months

  • Valid meningitis certificate (ACWY)

  • Four recent passport sized colour photos (white background)

2.2 AN Travel will not take any responsibility for ensuring successful booking if these documents are not so received, or are inaccurate, nor will it refund any monies paid in respect of your booking(s).

  • Health care

3.1 It is your responsibility to consult with your doctor on your physical ability to perform the Hajj before placing a Hajj booking with AN Travel. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you follow any medical guidance given to you, and to ensure that you take with you sufficient quantities of any and all medicines that you require.

3.2 It is your responsibility to inform AN Travel in advance of any relevant and/or material health condition(s), if you require suitable facilities to be arranged in connection with your flight(s) for your safety/comfort.

3.3 It is your responsibility to inform the Saudi Hajj Ministry in advance of any relevant and/or material health condition(s), if you require suitable facilities to be arranged for your safety/comfort while performing your Hajj or Umrah.

  • Accommodation

4.1 AN Travel acts only as an intermediary in arranging your accommodation. All information and specifications are provided by AN Travel on behalf of third party service providers, who are obliged to meet standards and requirements set by the Saudi Hajj Ministry. AN Travel therefore does warrant the accuracy of the information provided to you, nor will AN Travel accept any liability for accommodation standards differing from published information. Your right to complain about accommodation standards to the Saudi Hajj Ministry is unaffected by AN Travel’s disclaimer of liability.

4.2 AN Travel will not accept any responsibility for delays or errors in respect of room allocation, caused by hotel management or any other party/event/reason over which, at the time of the relevant party’s action or default, or the relevant event’s occurrence, or the relevant reason’s currency, AN Travel does not have control.

4.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that, at the time of booking, you are familiar with the check-in and check-out times applicable at the hotels you will be staying at, and that you observe these times while on your journey. AN Travel will not reimburse any cost in respect of your not being able to use the hotels as per your booking, for any period of time, due to your inobservance of check-in and check-out times, nor will AN Travel arrange or pay for alternative accommodation to be made available to you.

  • Behaviour

It is your responsibility to maintain acceptable standards of behaviour at all times. You must not behave in any way which causes or may cause distress, injury or annoyance to others, or give rise or may give rise to the risk of damage to property. If you do behave in any such way, you are likely to be evicted from your hotel. In case of such eviction, the evicting authority’s decision will be final, and AN Travel will have no liability to you, and will not refund to you any portion of the cost of your package, nor will AN Travel make alternative arrangements for you.

  • Transportation in Saudi Arabia

AN Travel will take no responsibility for delays occurring in airports, passport offices, or between transfer points, or at any other point in the journey. All journey times given are estimates, for information purposes only.

  • Cancellation

The following cancellation tariff applies to cancelled option bookings:

WEBSITE DISCLAMER

Please Note: The data displayed in our web site under Special Offer is NOT a display of AVAILABLE flights but is a database of prices and should be used as a means of researching the best fares for a given journey on a date or range of dates.  Once a suitable fare has been found, it will be necessary to confirm whether that fare is available for booking. Airlines sell limited numbers of seats at the lowest fare on each flight. When these have been sold, you may be offered a seat at a higher fare. However, the lowest fare price will NOT be removed from the fares database as the cheaper seats may still be available on other dates or subsequently become available again due to the airlines releasing more seats at the lowest fares due to fluctuations of supply and demand.
